All About ATV Lift Kits
Sometimes, there is need to raise your ATV even just a fraction away from the ground. It could be a much too rocky terrain that keeps banging on the ATVs underside, or your ATV is way too lowered and you need to pass a stretch of a watery trail. Either way, you need ATV lift kits to get the work done.
ATV lift kits are sets of bolts and braces that are designed to adjust your ATV and gain more ground clearance. ATV lift kits have an average of 2 inch lift. They are also easy bolt-on-bracket system that you can easily install while on the road.
There are several kinds of ATV lift kits available, most of them designed for a specific machine so it isnt choose-your-preference exercise. You should consider your vehicle type and the manufacturers stock suspension. You should consider, too, the existing lift your ATV tires allow on your vehicle and decide how much lift you need installed. You need to balance the overall existing conditions of your ATV and the lift youre going to install, if theres a working harmony between them. Remember, the higher your ATV is from the ground, the higher, too, will be its center of gravity. This, in turn will heighten the risk of your ATV of overturning.
Besides terrain conditions, ATV lift kits are also used to enhance an ATVs working condition. Here are some samples of ATV lift kits and how it is employed to enhance performance.
ATV Lift Kit used: Kawasaki Mule Lift System
Applies on all Mules (Kawasaki)
This lift system provides 2″ lift while improving the suspensions of the mule. The kit replaces the front coils, increasing the non cab model spring rate by 15% and the cab model by 35%. Spacers for the struts complete the front lift. The rear lift is achieved using extended length shackles which provide extra clearance.
The improvement would allow a greater load limit than without the enhancement. Since the overall load capabilities have improved, the work capabilities for this machine has proportionally improved.
ATV Lift Kit used: Honda Lift Systems
Applies on: TRX350 -00-04, TRX400 AT 04-05, TRX400 91-93, TRX450 98-05, TRX500 02-05, TRX650 03-04
This 2 inch lift system enhances the bikes handling, performance and stability by making modifications to the stock geometry. The design will be a large factor in stabilizing the bikes suspension and make it more sure footed over rough terrain.
This installation allows more stability in rough terrain. If used in junction with large and wide set of tires, rest assured all rides will be comfortable.

Dodge Lift Kits for Better Maneuver Without Sacrificing Ride Quality
Have you ever wondered how you can make your Dodge achieve an off-road look without sacrificing its ride quality? Or how you could fit bigger and wider wheels in it quickly and hassle-free? Then the answer you’ve been looking for is the Dodge lift kits—a component that will give your Dodge a new look without sacrificing its performance.
There are actually two types of lift kits available for your Dodge ride—the body lift and the suspension lift. The body lift is designed to lift only the Dodge’s body from the frame. It raises the car’s body from only one to three inches. Although this kit does not increase the car’s ground clearance, it allows for taller tires and wider wheels to be installed in your car. This lift though is not the lift of choice of many off-roaders as it does not alter the suspension or improve travel. So, you might want to think twice before considering this type of lift.
The suspension lift is built for one key purpose—to raise the Dodge’s suspension for greater ground clearance. It increases the distance between the car’s axle and the ground for better travel. On an average, this lift will raise the car’s height to about four or six inches. But it can also go for as high as 18 inches. Although it is more costly than the body lift, it offers better ground clearance, vehicle handling, and height. So, if you are a serious off-roader, this lift is what you need
Several manufacturers of these lift kits are available in the market today. They all ensure that their kits are made from high-standard materials to ensure tough and durable service. Most of them even see to it that only OEM materials are used in the lifts for guaranteed function. Of course, the lifts’ prices will vary depending on the type and model of the kit.
So, whether you choose to get the body lift or the suspension lift, what is important is that you choose the right lift kit best to your Dodge and your driving style. Don’t sacrifice your car’s performance for cheap, low quality lifts. The market provides you wide choices, so carefully weight your options before buying. Better yet, consult your mechanic for the right Dodge lift kits best fitted for your car and your budget.

Ford Lift Kits for Serious Off-roaders
If you plan to go on a serious off-road adventure, there are three things you need to consider: the body and frame layout of your car, its ground clearance, and its capacity to deliver equal or diverse torque to the front and rear wheels when needed.
Depending on the off-road driving you intend to take, the smaller vehicle the better as small vehicles can maneuver better through narrow roads and openings. But if you are determined on taking your Ford with you, there is one thing you need to ensure—give it good ground clearance for easy, quick, and flexible maneuver.
And how would you do this? Through the Ford lift kits.
You actually have two choices when it comes to Ford Lift Kits. You can equip it with either with a body lift or suspension lift. But since you are going off-road, better get the suspension lift. This type of lift is more popular today on car owners who want a beefy look on their car. It’s also better on off-road drives as it gives the car greater clearance, allowing it to drive over rocks and humps much better.
And how does the suspension lift does this? With the help of the system of springs it has that raises the car’s body, power train, and engine above the wheels. This lessens the movement of the vehicle caused by road irregularities and help it ascent and descent better on steeper roads.
No need to worry of finding the right Ford lift kits for your car. There are plenty of manufacturers in the market that offer different types of suspension lift. These kits vary in its components ranging from simple blocks, coil springs, and shocks package to control arms, four-link systems, and trailing arms package.
When it comes to quality, these kits are made from high-grade and tough materials for guaranteed service life. Even if these kits are small and simple, they are sure to offer a huge difference to your Ford ride.
So, grab your own Ford lift kits now and make your off-road drive a truly exciting and unforgettable experience without the head-toss drama inside the cabin.

Here are some SkyJacker product and brand reviews that I found on the web:
“Good product. Greatly improved bump steer problems on 1995 Jeep Wrangler with 4″ lift and 12.5″ x 33″ tires”
“I am really pleased with the skyjacker steering stabilizer, It really has helped with keeping my jeep steady and between the lines.”
“This is the second pair of skyjacker leaf springs I have ordered, and have yet to be dissappointed. The springs were shipped exceptionally fast. I have used skyjackers in all of my trucks and have had no problems. I will be ordering a third set to finish out my 81 Toyota truck, and it’ll be ready for the trails!”
“I was really impressed in the timely manner in which the add-a-leafs where shipped and arrived to me. Installation was a bit tricky. On Chevy Silverados, the gas tank sits in the way of removing the front driver side spring eye bolt. Instead of taking the leafsprings out I had to drop the axel. Make sure you disconnect the brake line brackets so you have enough room to lift the frame up. I also found it easy to reinstall the springs by putting tape around the leafs before lifting them up to join them the spring with the eye bolts. C clamps are a must. Over all it is a pretty simple installation. The add-a-leaf is exactly what I was looking for to get rid of the sagging in the rear end.”
“I am very satisfied with both the appearance and performance of these springs. I added 1.5 inch lift to the rear and 2 inches to the front and it looks and drives “right on”.”
“The SkyJacker suspension is awesome! I ordered the skyjacker add a leafs for my 2001 dodge ram 1500 to raise the rear 2 inches. It did what I wanted and didnt stiffen up my springs that much. Im very happy with them and would use them on other vehicles too, Thanks.”

Are there Suspension lift kits for 1999 Toyota 4runners?
I have searched the internet for 2 hours and every time i look for 1999 Toyota 4runner lift kits there is none. Does anyone know if there are any?
Also my 4runner is a SR5 automatic 4 wheel drive.
RUFUKINKIDING me? r there lift kits? TONS.
the best brand for toyota would be old man emu, marlin, or all pro. all pro and marlin make nothing but toyota rock crawler parts. old man emu is a highly respected reliable brand.
then you have companys like rancho, skyjacker, pro comp… ok but tehy all make 4 inch kits with new crossmembers, and lowering pivot point. which means stronger, but less wheel travel and ground clearance.
SLEEOFFROAD has kits already put together using all old man emu parts that offer 2 or 3 inch lift. maintain same control, better ground clearance, and good performance and simplicity.

Truck Suspension Lift Kits: Factors You Should Consider
Here are the following factors you have to consider when you purchase suspension lift kits for your truck:
Installation – you can install your own lift kit into your truck since many manufacturers now offer a manual for doing the installation yourself. However, several types of truck suspension lift kits involve complicated installations. These types require welding and cutting in order to some important components can also be added. During such cases you may have to call on your trusted mechanic or request for some knowledgeable friend’s advice concerning the best resolution.
Additional Modifications – if you need to do upgrades on your truck’s lift kits by having taller tires, then you also need to do some part upgrades or tuning on a number of truck components to compensate for it. Your truck’s engine is adjusted according to a specific gear ratio in order to propel the entire vehicle, properly. When you need to add taller tires, your gear ratios also need to be tweaked accordingly since the vehicle’s engine must spin much heavier and larger tires. You may need to consult more experienced individuals/truck owners’ further insight on this matter.
Highway performance – sometimes, having larger and wider tires result to instability of the vehicle on roads or having an uncomfortable and noisy ride when you are driving at high speed. More aggressive off-road tires on vehicles also have a tendency to wear faster when used on the highway. When riding over wet roads, you may also experience not so great traction as you would expect. Make sure that you get the proper direction from an experienced off – road rider before having larger tires on your vehicle since it can be such a gamble.
Weight – your suspension may suffer a lot of strain, particularly if stock suspension since larger tires can be heavier. This is a very common issue in truck lift kits installation. Nonetheless, it can really be just a matter of becoming more accustomed to your vehicle’s performance change.
Legality – realize that suspension lift kits can be a serious change on your truck’s suspension system and as such, they may be violating suspension regulations of your country. Check out first these regulations within your state, province or country so that you can be sure of the legality.
Some useful accessories – before you install a suspension lift kits, you have to examine if other components can become affected by the new height. You may need to do upgrades on some useful accessories like the brake upgrades, drivetrain, differential, replacement parts, shocks, steering linkage, drive shaft length, slip yoke, u-joint angel and brake lines.
